Charity

 Upon meeting the founder of Nurture, Irene Lowry, and seeing the hands on involvement from her and her team, who dedicate their time and energy into helping, counselling and supporting women and their partners experiencing pregnancy and/or childbirth related maternal mental illness, we knew that this is a charity we wish to support.  

Over 42,000 women in Ireland are diagnosed with a maternal mental health illness annually and women are afraid to talk about these illnesses therefore this area is hugely stigmatised and taboo in Irish society.  We need a charity like Nurture in Ireland who provide an immediate nationwide support service, through the provision of one-to-one counselling on issues with fertility right through to post natal depression.  

The positive impact Nurture and Irene make on the women and families they meet is so important and close to our hearts and we are absolutely delighted to be able to support and help break down the stigma.
